Tyda-Jungle Bells Nature
Camp : Tyda is a small village nestled in the densely
forested hills of
Eastern Ghats
, on the way to Araku from Vizag. it is now home to an enchanting
date with untouched nature, with Jungle Bells Nature Camp,
established by AP Tourism in association with Department of Forests.
The camp provides great view of
Eastern Ghats
, facilities for trekking, hiking and bird watching in addition to
acomodation in log huts amidst serene surroundings.
Appikonda
: At a distance of 18 km from Vizag, Appikonda,
also known as Kapilakonda, is home to a Shiva temple with
inscriptions dating back to the 12th century AD. The chief
attraction of the shrine is a lifesize bu'll (Nandi) carved out of
black stone.
Panchadharala
: Situated at a distance of 24 km from Anakapalli,
one of the satellite towns of Vi zag, Panchadhrala houses a famous
Shiva temple. The place derives its name from five jets of water
coming out of five.
