VUDA Park : VUDA Park is a place for leisure and amusementforthe urban dwellers. A well equipped gym, pleasure rides on horses and camels, skating rink, boating and musical fountain are the enticing attractions of the Park.

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park : The largest Zoological Park in Andhra Pradesh, spread over 450 acres, the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park houses exotic species of birds and animals in natural habitat.

Alluring hills covered by thick forests, spellbinding wonders of nature and a lovable culture are all within easy reach from Vizag. In fact the hills and valleys beyond Vizag are among the finest rendezvous with nature Andhra Pradesh can offer.

Bavikonda : Situated on a hill overlooking the sea, between Bhimli and Vizag, Gavikonda has remains of an enitre Buddhist complex, comprising 26 structures belonging to three phases. a piece of bone stored in an urn recovered here is believed to belong the mortal of the Buddha. the artefacts unearthed here include oman coins and Satavahana coins apart from pottery dating back to 3rd century BC and century AD.

Pavuralakonda : Pavuralakonda or ‘the hill of the pigeons’ is a hillock lyng to the west of Bhimli, at about 24 km from Vizag. The Buddhist settlement found here is estimated to have witnessed human habitation between 1st Century AD. Sixteen rock out cut cisterns for impounding rain water are found on the hillock, which offers a panoramic view of the coastline.
