Bheemunipatnam : The 25 km. stretch of road literally hugging the coastline from Visakhapatnam to Bheemunipatnam is simply breathtaking. On the way one can venture into "Erramattidibbalu", beautiful formations of red sand, or the shallow waters of the unending beach. Bheemunipatnam, known as Bhimli, a sleepy little town, is the second oldest municipality in the country. The colonial past of the town is evident in the remains of a once thriving Dutch settlement. River Gosthani, at the mouth of which Bhimli lies, forms an alluring recess to the town.

Ramakrishna Mission Beach : The beach with a city attached! Ramakrishna Mission Beach is Vizag's favourite evening sojourn. Spacious, sunkissed beach, dotted on the other side by an Acquarium, the Kali temple, Visakha Museum, Roadside restaurants offering seafood and of course the glittering . citylights. Ramakrishna Beach is an exquisite evening pastime.

Kailasagiri Hill : A charming hill on the northern side of the city, Kailasagiri offers a spectacular view of the long shoreline and the city scape of Vizag. The panoramic  sea view from Kailasagiri brings forth the expanse of water in its natural hues. The Park atop the hill has lush greenery and picnic arena for the entire family. A ropeway coming up soon will enhance the excitement of Kailasagiri.

Lawson's Bay : A beautiful beach that falls on the way to Kailasagiri Hill, Lawson's Bay is a paradise for walkers, and an ideal spot for sea bathing and surfing. The quiet environs or the beach are indeed a bliss. The water is shallow and blue.
